Under the heading of “things you shouldn’t say in media you shouldn’t save” this week we have the emails between scientists talking about how the rise in global temperatures might not as bad as has been reported.  Taken at face value they talk about manipulating numbers to prove a point.  The scientists in question say they are being miss interpreted, that they are more banter between colleges.

Do you believe them?  Do you not believe them? Does it matter?

When you were a kid did we have more snow? Have you noticed a change in the weather patterns? Whatever the cause we all know that things are not what they used to be. The ice caps are shrinking, sea levels rising, natural disasters more and more often.

Are there long term patterns we still don’t understand? Most likely. Could this be totally natural?  Well yes. We are of the earth, we don’t stand outside looking in on the activities on this planet, so what we do is natural.  Is it controllable, or changeable? We will see wont we?

All and all, a call to arms was needed, and although the numbers were cooked,  the truth is we humans have abused what we were given and its time we as a planet, as a race stand up and take responsibility for what we, as a planet,  have done.
